For nearly two decades, Capitol Language Services (CLS) has supported families with trusted before- and after-school care kids love. As a local, women-founded business, we blend learning and play to help every child thrive.

Our Programs
Capitol Language Services (CLS) offers a range of before- and after-school programs designed to support learning, creativity, and growth. From language and arts to STEM and enrichment activities, our programs provide safe, engaging, and skill-building experiences that help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally—while giving families reliable, high-quality care they can trust.
CLS at Hearst ES Programs (2025-2026)
Registration open until February 23rd, 2026!
When children come in before their day begins, they can read independently, have story time, and play educational games with the instructors. CLS instructors will support the children’s transition to their daytime teachers.

- $165/month
- $200/package of 10 drop-ins (one package per year)

Deposit requirement
Monday through Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
A non-refundable deposit equal to one month's tuition is required to secure your child's spot. This deposit will be applied to the last month of the program.

Important Enrollment Dates for Hearst ES Families
Current Hearst ES Families
Students who attended ES during the 2024–2025 school year or earlier
- Enrollment completed by July 15: Your child will start on the first day of school.

- Kindergarten–5th Grade: Monday, August 25
- Pre-K: Thursday, August 28

- Enrollment blackout period: July 16 – September 1 (no new enrollments will be processed).
- Enrollment after September 1: Your child will start 10 busiHearstness days after all enrollment steps are completed. Exact start date will be confirmed by email.
